He's first in the league right now in goals, if he finishs top 5 points and top 5 goals theres no way his agent makes him take less then 10+ long term. I don't get how point>marner but point will make about 3 million less then he will. (The last point isn't meant to you but to Hfboards mentality as a whole).

This is a tough one. Hes on course for 102+ points, and a 102 point Giroux is overpaid at 8.275 (12.75%), so 10.5 (12.75 equivalent) wouldn't seem fair, right? Then, factor in this "huge tax advantage" that Tampa players get?

9 mil, 8 years because Florida residents dont have to pay any taxes, whatsoever.

it'll be a bridge deal like Kuch's. You can't ask big money if you are a product of a man who took the team-friendly bridge deal just a couple of years ago.
