If it's a new normal it will only be because Claude has relaxed his ultra-defensive system a bit. On most other teams, I think Brad would have hit 35-40 a few times already.

With Loui out the door I think it is an absolute MUST that Brad gets time on the top PP unit but at the same time he won't be playing the Loui role in front of the net so maybe they put Backes there instead.

Brad is a very skilled player. I see him as being a 30's range goal scorer going forward. Will he ever hit 40? It's possible but it would take the perfect storm. We'd need to add another talented facilitator/winger to the Marchy-Bergy line.
