The most wonderful time of year begins today:

Middle Tennessee vs. Toledo (-10.5) in the Bahamas Bowl (12pm)

Northern Illinois vs. Coastal Carolina (-11) in the Tailgater Cure Bowl (6pm)

And just to prove how prestigious these bowls are, Kenny Pickett has opted out of playing in the Peach Bowl. Hope those NY6 rights are worth it.

I think it was telling how irrelevant the bowls were that you had someone break Burrow's NCAA record as well as a controversial NIU loss and nobody talked about it.

Bailey Zappe is incredible though. Wonder if he could be an NFL QB

San Diego State beats UTSA in the Frisco Bowl. Apparently that's a bowl that attracts top G5 teams

Army beat Missouri on a last second field goal.

Today, 2 days after the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl contested by UTSA and San Diego State (both 12-win G5 teams), we have the ‘Frisco Football Classic’ with North Texas and Miami, OH, both of whom were 6-6 G5 teams and player in the same stadium.

Texas A&M has pulled out of the Gator Bowl due to COVID:

Rutgers is expected to be the replacement here. Sucks for Wake as well as they deserved a better opponent to play.

UCF is definitely the better team but Florida gave up as soon as they got punched in the mouth. Basically how they've reacted for a decade or more at this point since Urban and his program unraveled.

UCF is barely better, they are a bit lucky Florida is missing some players. They just have a veteran OL and big back that controlled the game. Got a big play WR who made big plays. But they QB is very mediocre, he's holding the offense back. They really need to find someone better or Keene needs to take a huge step next year. The QB play works for the American but when they get to the Big 12 it won't be good enough. The defense also stepped up, very bend don't break but it was effective.
