Proposal: Boeser to Calgary

The Flames get a lethal top 6 scorer while the Canucks get futures. Do you think Calgary would be interested in something like this during the summer and is the deal fair?
P.S: This is just for fun so don't hate on me

To Calgary
- B. Boeser
- 2020 7th Round pick
To Vancouver
- D. Dube
- S. Bennett
- T. Hamonic signing rights
- 2020 First Round pick
- 2022 Conditional Second Round pick: Becomes a First if Boeser scores at least 70 points or if Calgary advances to the Conference finals in either of the next two NHL seasons.

Fair?

That is just terrible for Vancouver! The Nucks give up by far the best player who is 23 and has a strong bond with our soon to be extended franchise player. A non lottery 1st and 2 redundant bottom 6 players is nowhere near fair value.

Valimaki, Pelletier, 1st 20/21 and 22 and Lucic for Brock B. and Sutter at 35% retained
That's our top 2 prospects imho

No, it's not remotely fair.

Wouldn’t work with cap. Zero interest in trading Dube

I think Dube will be the better all around player than Boeser

I like Boeser, but giving up 3 1st round picks and our best defensive prospects is not going to fly.

I would easily do the OP package. Boeser isn't coming direct to calgary from vancouver though, not even Benning could make a gaffe like that.

Calgary can't afford this cap wise. Value aside it doesn't work for the Flames

So you’d rather have a 3rd line all around player over a 1st line scoring winger?

I think Dillon is the type of two way stud that you win with. I think he’s going to be a top line two way player and I have for a few years. Not so much that I don’t like Boeser. I just think Dube has a chance to be the best forward on the Flames in a couple years.

Trust me, this guy is a bigger Dube fan than myself ^ well one of the few, but he's only going to be a Backlund level C if you ask me.
