Why are you defending this dude so hard

Why are you hating on him so hard? The fact is, he was a pretty decent goalie for the Rangers. Igor was better, and it was obvious that the divorce was the best option.

I'm only "defending him" here because some people are acting like Bertuzzied a Ranger player or something. He gets an irrational amount of hate for what he was, a bubble starter in a rebuilding team. I find it bizarre, that no other player in the league, even playing for the Devils or the Islanders, brings up so much hate from certain posters.
