Lock this up immediately. Rangers barf all over this nonsense.

you must be applying hugely negative value to DeAngelo. I doubt the rangers see a two year deal that way.

Dunn carries small value and Schwartz is a rental to a non playoff team? That makes no sense.

tarasenko’s value has never been less than it has been for the last year.

Vlad Tarasenko, Jaden Schwartz, Vince Dunn

Kaapo Kakko, Tony DeAngelo, Vitali Kravtsov

Blues offset Cap for Rangers covering the cost of Tarasenko and Schwartz this years cap

It doesn't work that way. And the Rangers wouldn't do it regardless.

Lock this up.

I don't value Tarasenko as much as the rest of the fanbase, but having said that for the love of god take Tony DeAngelo out of this before we even consider.

Tarasenko is a broken shell of himself. No thanks.

JD doesn't work for Blues any more, as far as we know

this doesn't offer NYR any benefits that that they seek, at all!
besides that
- why would NYR add more pricy vets to the pricey core of Bread, Trouba, Kreider,
with Buch up for renewal and handful of key pending RFAs
- The hole some perceived at NYR LHD has been filled by Miller, perhaps the most impressive rookie D this season

- and neither Krav nor Kakko are available

beyond silly,
please find actual, motivated contenders, seeking another top 6 F, to move Tarasenko and/or Schwartz

EDIT - hadn't even realized Schwartz was pending UFA when I replied, that makes this offer even more absurd; NYR have no conceivable need for a pricy rental, and for sure wouldn't pay the cost in OP

I wouldn't take DeAngelo if he was given to us for free and retained.

I'm also not nearly as enamored with Kakko as most. I'd rather re-sign Schwartz, and if we're trading Tarasenko, I'd look to use him in a deal for something that fits with our window better.

Even though this is lopsided in favor of the Blues, I still pass. I'm afraid I just don't want anything to do with DeAngelo.
a bit of an uninformed response, regarding Tony D,
very little downside,
leave him home for this year and one remaining month of Cap Hit,
very cheap buy out of his remaining season (1/3 of owed, paid over twice the term) , since he is under 26
and you'd get the huge savings of Tara's contract

NOT that NYR would ever consider this deal
OP needs to find teams seeking veteran help at Wing, that's not where NYR are at ...

On principle, vote to let it die a natural death in lieu of lock.
However
death cannot come fast enough.

And for the record:
"NYR are NOT trading their bluest blue chips. Period"
