Will be a very interesting weekend for McLeod. If he tears it up New Jersey has zero depth up the middle...just saying. We are one Boyle or Zajac injury from having Coleman shift to center with no alternative.

I think Coleman would get that gig. I would guess the chances of McLeod showing up in these playoffs are pretty slim.

So NJ won't carry an extra center?
How many guys can we carry? I'm sure Mojo, Bratt, and Stafford will be on board. Hayes? Maybe.

I wouldn't be that concerned about carrying an extra center if we have versatile wings who can fill in in case of injury.

And if we had to pull someone up from Bing, I still don't think McLeod would be the first choice. .

Johansson I suppose can play center, is he even going to play before playoffs.

For playoffs, teams may recall an unlimited number of players, but is limited to only three recalled players on the active roster at once. That is, unless it recalled four players following the trade deadline, in which case it can keep all four for the remainder of the playoffs.

LBC's Guide to NHL Waivers

No players were recalled after the deadline.

McLeod's looking good tonight.

I think the pro game might help him a bit. Less time and space to skate and it'll force him to make plays quicker.

My goodness does Brett Seney look like an improved player from when I saw him at Merrimack last year. His willingness to go to the dirty areas, and emphasis on the defensive game are welcome additions to his impressive offensive skills. No doubt he was a really talented player, as he led his team in scoring all four years at Merrimack, but it really seems that in his senior year, he stepped up his readiness to take the next step.

Not to mention he's ridiculously quick.

Looks a lot like Gibbons out there.
