Real good game. I felt they sit back a bit too much in the 3rd, which is dangerous, but they also backed that up with good defensive play.

I hate to be a sore winner here but it's games like these that just confirm Gio is the only top-pairing quality D on the Flames.

Hamilton, Brodie are severely overrated on HF

Not to be a downer...but i think matthews is hurt he didnt look into the game, slow and didnt have his normal zip and magic

Anyone agree that injury he had a cpl weeks ago is bugging him?

Only 20 shots against. Thats how you play guys.
Babcock's system sure didnt fail today, almost like it wasnt failing in the 1st place.

Superb effort from top to bottom. First game in a while where I was pleased with the overall team effort from the drop of the puck to the final whistle. Excellent road win!

That was a terrific game. Leafs looked like a defensive giant that game.

Probably the best 60 minutes we’ve had this year, and on the road no less. And it happened while with what I thought were the worst line combinations imaginable  I’ll happily eat my words I guess

I hope everyone who complains about the leaf defensemen took a long close look at that supposed elite group of calgary dmen and saw every one of their horrible giveaways and men left open in front. even the gio-dougie pair got run over shift after shift, while the brodie-hamonic pair was shambolic.

their dcorps certainly didn't look as good as our dcorps.

That was one of their best wins this season for sure
. Overall the Leafs have looked much better these past two games and are playing much cleaner hockey overall, which is encouraging.
