I hate people that talk about these prospects all being small.
Brule is 17 years old, he has a lot of growing to do. Probably 1-3 inches, and 10-30 pounds....

Even at 511 180 he close to average for the NHL. You aren't done growing at 17.

What's most impressive about that hipcheck is that it was an open ice one rather then the fairly common ones along the boards.

Dan Hamhuis is the master of the hipcheck...and he's already thrown some beauties for Nashville....

When in Prince George, I saw him a LOT throw hits like the Bergeron hipcheck - yes, I'm spoiled - but he's going to be one of the great up and coming hitters in the league. He doesn't go out looking for it, but my GAWD...will he ever punish you if he gets the chance.

3 years ago, no one would go down the wing and try and go wide in the Multiplex against the cougars....now, it happens all the time because players aren't getting punished...how how I miss Hamhuis...
