I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious
Ned made a few good saves at the end, but for most of the game we were peppering him with turds, a good stat padding night.
Haha…..For Pens of course. So A Svech played great he's got such a big line
74 covers all sins + Burns makes several head scratching dangerous passes in the zone every game. Expecting a deep run=yes, selectively resting key players. That Burns should sit, amirite?
He probably is not even in the top three of who needs to look themselves in the mirror. That Burns should sit, amirite?
But his xgfa/69 are 2338 and Kuznetsov is only .02.Get Staal off the ice at end of games. He has stone hands.
I blame the OP for stealing the GDT from Jurcos who had the hot hand
You’re going to have to break that down into CGAS to help people better understand. But his xgfa/69 are 2338 and Kuznetsov is only .02.
Clearly Rod is a fan of the analytics.
There was an attempted hostile take over leading up to thatNah, the unspoken rule about GDT creation has always been the creator switches when the team loses. Canes lost against the Caps, BDC took over for the Toronto game, Canes won, BDC creates this one.
offre hostile? OP want return a hab? There was an attempted hostile take over leading up to that
only 231 to go to pass Kessel. and 374 non-consecutive to pass Marleau. They may seem out of reach considering he's 39 but if he wants to play until 45 I could see him breaking those 2 records as a Cane. I don't see him playing for any other team the rest of his career, he fits in so well here and presumably still wants to get a ring and we're one of his best shots.Burns has played almost 900 consecutive games. He won’t be taking any maintenance days unless he personally asks for them.

As long as he's willing to play 3rd pair and sign league min contracts for a few years, definite possibilityHe might not care, but he has to be thinking about this a little bit. He just watched Kessel and Marleau get the red carpet treatment for breaking that record. It’s a genuine legacy item that he would be asked about and honored for until he’s geriatric.
He seems like a guy that could easily play till 44, 45 if he didn’t mind skating third-pair minutes as a specialist. Chara and Chelios didn’t seem like that guy until they went out and did it. I could very much seem Burns doing a tour of the league for an extra couple of seasons in order to keep taking shots at a Cup, hit that number, and solidify that HHOF legacy. Oh, and make several million dollars in the process. As long as he’s physically able, he’d be a fool not to.

Maybe they'll let him switch to velcro!!Hell, he could probably make decent money even as a 3rd pair PP specialist. With that shot he’ll be a goal scorer till he can’t tie his skates anymore.
Would be friggin awesome if he can keep playing well and we can keep him that long and see him break 1 or both of those records here. And yeah I agree he probably should be thinking about it, but who knows what he's thinking. Obviously there are exceptions like the 2 guys you mentioned but I think it's extremely tough for pro athletes to go from top tier player in the league to sticking around as a bottom tier player. Of course also depends on how he feels physically. I really hope he still has 2-3 more years as a good fit on our top pair with Slavin. He was definitely better last year but he's still been a fine top pair guy this year, we'll have to see how long that can last.He might not care, but he has to be thinking about this a little bit.
