...if you were a PA member, would you rather have a linkage cap at say, 55% or a hard cap at $42.5M.

Don't take anything else into consideration (UFA age, EL system, etc.).

Which would be more acceptable to you?

Personally I would like to be considered more a partner rather than an employee so I would take the linkage.

That's the problem - the players kept talking partnership, but rebuffed linkage because they wanted no part of the risk....

yea, who wouldn't want a job that is no risk and all gain???? ... I'd love to take my owners money ... oh wait I can't, I OWN MY OWN BUSINESS :banghead:

and I'm talking about ALL ATHELETES ... but these are the first atheletes to ever be associated with a work stoppage and THEIR Union Head had to be reminded to apologize for the work stoppage

I wonder if the PA is similarly split?

What am I thinking? Seems like none of them have given it this much thought.

Before the lockout, linkage would have made more sense, because hockey revenues would probably still grow, although not that much, enough to increase the cap. Due to the lockout and shortened season, definitely hard cap at 42.5 The players are never going to see that much money again.
