Reuben Foster has been charged with felony domestic violence...

"The victim told responding sheriff’s deputies and Los Gatos police that Foster dragged her by her hair, physically threw her out of the house, and punched her in the head 8 to 10 times."
John Lynch really screwed up with that pick. If the allegations are true, Foster should spend some time in jail and be suspended for a year. Any employer would fire / suspend an employee if this sort of headline made the news and was found accurate.

LOL the 6th receiving option!

Have you looked at Bears WR group

Fascinating to see how quickly Pace fans thrash players who depart to try and frame Pace in favorable light
Have you seen KC offense?
Nagy likes short throws and YAC. Meredith is not a fast or flashy player.
Robinson, Gabriel, Burton, Cohan and Shahean will get more looks.
That leaves him as option 6. Without considering Howard.
He'l Nagy even has had 3 TE formations.

On second thought, Reuben Foster's career is over if the allegations are accurate. He allegedly hit her so hard that her ear drum busted. Someone hit her to inflict massive damage.

The red flags were there at the NFL Combine. That's why Foster fell in the draft.

He's still shocked that his favorite GM, John Lynch, screwed up badly in last year's draft. Lynch's 2 first round picks last year:

* Solomon Thomas - Run stopping DE picked #3.
* Reuben Foster - looking at 11 years in prison.

Everyone lauded Lynch when he "fleeced" Pace last year. John Lynch claimed Foster was rated #1 on his board. Did he ever consider why he dropped in the draft?

I'd be fine with a 1 year deal.

Don't think he's washed up, @RayP

He had 840 yards and 6TDs last season, and still averaged 12 YPC. He can be productive still if someone can reign in his stupid behavior.

Dez is nowhere near washed up, he did however miss like 10 games the past couple of seasons. He would immediately be the best offensive player on the field.

He’s not going to have a ton of patience for Mitch to develop and will be outspoken. Other teams are probably more attractive to Dez.

What do the Bears have to lose on a 1 year deal.

Is it 2014 or something?

Nah, I think Robinson is better, currently, and think Howard is also.

I would absolutely sign him for a short term, incentive deal.

He hasn't been the same since Romo left AND I don't think he ever recovered from his broken foot. Plus he wears his emotions on his sleeve.

We heard all the same stuff with Marshall coming here. The position seems to always come with baggage, at least the top tier guys.
Before coming to the Bears Marshall had put up 5 straight 1000 yards seasons. Bryant has averaged less than 700 yards over the last 3 years.

Mark Sanchez suspended for 4 games due to PED positive. This is the one time I believe the player. He probably took a prohibited off the counter supplement. He was in street clothes all year. He was never going to play.

You do realize how many games he missed. Also didn't think Dak was good with his long ball and they pretty much just fed Elliot. Stats don't tell the entire story.

He could be a great addition to the team.

Pro Football Focus goes beyond the stats. While Dez is good at contested catches, they say he just can't separate anymore. If Dez wants to play for the Bears at $3mn, it's a good gamble. Something tells me Dez wants far more than that.

Dez is a terrible route runner. He's more of a freelance guy. Considering Andy Reid is a West Coast guy, Nagy probably wants his receivers to be a bit more disciplined.

Dez needs a team that wants to go vertical.
