Both teams are playing like they really want it. I don't see anything lacking in terms of effort from the Canes. Just execution in the face of a stalwart opponent, as per SOP.

Eh... they're not playing great. Didn't really generate many dangerous chances in the 2nd. It seems like they're trying to throw the puck into traffic in front and get lucky. But no one's strong enough to win a puck battle in front, so it's just a lot of fire and fury amounting to an Avalanche counterattack.

That was a rough period. They also spent 6 of the first 9 minutes short handed so that f***s things up. That they Cane through not losing is a good thing.
