Was hoping for a long-term deal but that was always going to be tough so I’ll take it.

The best part for me is the timing. I honestly thought this would be a late August type of signing with the possibility of some bad blood. Avoided all of that.

Meh. Would have liked an extra year at this average. Avs seem to struggle to get discounts from anyone. Fully on board moving G at this point.

I was just thinking, knowing who was gunning for our dman would give us some leverage in circling back and maybe talking trade down the line. Like, I ain't gonna let you touch Bo, but Girard on the other hand...this kid is exactly what you need. Peterson at 50% and he's yours.
