Flashed his potential with Sox a few years ago but inconsistency was always issue
Seems to have found a more consistent level of play since departing Chicago (His OBP has stabilized in recent years)
Could be good deal for Marlins but if he has struggles, he had in Chicago return the Marlins may regret the length of deal
Overall still on surface its solid deal for them and he is safe bet to likely get 20 or more HR's for some pop to lineup
