I do think at some point, many of these grade A+++ chances the Avs generate each game will actually go in.
It just won't be tonight. Hakstol owns Bednar and has made Bednar his bottom B. Seattle will play their game and the Avs will try to play their dumb puck possession style vs the heavy forecheck while playing right into Hakstol's game plan. Seattle will score 3 easy turnover goals as our wingers float float and float above the blue line expecting Makar, Toews, G or Byram to make a series of hero plays to trigger odd man rushes. Avs have so many lazy forwards that don't participate in breakouts and Bednar never holds them to account.
Avs 1: Seattle 4.
