Does anyone know if the Altitude Authentics customization is any good or am I better off getting a blank and sending it to Hockey Authentic?

Still annoyed they didn’t have any in stock when I was there for the home opener and then released a bunch of stock 2 weeks later when I’d already spent the money I’d set aside for it on other stuff during the trip

I got a Landy custom from them after the final with the cup patch and C. It’s great and everything is stitched well and symmetrical.

Brilliant. Thanks. Do you happen to know if they actually did the kit as reverse kiss cut (with the outline on top of the main number)? I have a MacKinnon from NHL shop that’s stacked (main number on top of outline). It’s a minor detail but for the amount it’ll cost it would be nice to have it to the proper spec

Not sure what you mean but here are some pics.

Out of curiosity, which way does the team do it?

Reverse kiss cut is what the on-ice jerseys have. It’s really common to see the kits as stacked. I bought the one in the photos below from someone who got it done at EPS who was the Avs official customizer at the time and still is the team customizer for a bunch of teams. If you look closely you can see the silver outline is sitting on top of the black number

Think I've got it, in the burgandy Landy jersey, it's just one super wide bedazzled 29 with the actual white 29 sewn over the top but with a bit still sticking out. While the white MacKinnon the bedazzling is actually outlining the 29 on top.

I need new peepers.

It’s a subtle difference but yes that’s what it is. Unless a person is into collecting, it doesn’t matter and stacked looks just as good.

A blank from Altitude is already 40% more expensive than up here (more if they’re on sale - its almost triple what I paid for an RR 2.0) before getting nailed with duty/import fees. You just can’t get the aways from anywhere else (at this time). For that price might as well just pay the little bit extra for the kit to match the spec.

I kinda outgrew liking the way I looked wearing jerseys in my mid 30s and quit buying. But I really feel like I want to get one done to mount on the wall in order to celebrate last summer's cup but have been hemming and hawing about which player to go with. I appreciate y'all sharing this info as it'll help me in my future purchase. Been learning towards Nuke but was thinking Makar just last week and MacKinnon the week before that. Maybe I can get a discount if I buy in bulk? Then I can tell my wife how much money I saved us for a change.

I finally pulled the trigger on a Nordique authentic reverse retro Nathan MacKinnon addidas. I've wanted to this style reverse retro and found it in my size on eBay ✌️

My dad bought me a Makar home jersey but it's too big. So, in reality, he bought himself a Makar home jersey. I'm 5'10", 165 and he's 6'1", 225. My mom dragged him to a thrift store and he found an authentic jersey for 20 bucks.

Beauty. Amusing coincidence, l had that one on watch (unless there was another one in a different size) but hesitated too long on going for it. Congrats on grabbing it
I've been looking to pick any reverse retro really and have been looking around the past year. I saw a Girard one at like $400 a year ago even, after game 3 I decided to take a look and I saw this one had 20 people watching told my mate and he told me to buy it or id regret it 🙃 And yeah the size was my jersey size I couldn't believe it.

Your time will come stay strong good sir stay diligent!

Bittersweet mail day. I still have to add the cup patch to it myself. It’s cool hockey so the kit isn’t actually right but it was on sale so good enough and I wasn’t paying an extra $50 for them to add a patch I can pickup <$20

Heads up for any Canadians - Hockey Authentic is supposed to be getting the away jerseys to start next season so they’ll be available cheaper than ordering one from Altitude and no getting nailed with duties/brokerage fees

Heads up for any Canadians interested in picking up an Adidas away jersey - Hockey Authentic is now taking pre-orders for them. They should ship in October.

I believe for the Americans they are similarly priced to the ones from Altitude so it’s not as interesting unless you really care that the kit will be reverse kiss cut (on ice spec) instead of stacked

Also few from some more recent additions that aren’t part of a larger collection
