Library. No joke I have been looking to buy one of these for months. Garage sales, yard sales, etc. and I see them from time to time on Facebook marketplace but never complete like this (usually just the part with the drawers and usually two rows) and they are usually absurdly priced. My friend sent me a text the other day and was like "hey this is on the curb at the library around the corner from my house you want it?" Jackpot! After removing the metal rods inside the cards fit basically perfectly. I thought I was going to fill the whole thing up but those drawers are deep AF so there is plenty of room to grow!

Kevin Korchinski (drafted 7th by Chicago) c/o Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL)- so some backstory here. I wrote to Korchinski last fall. He returned my card with an inscription thanking me for being his first ever fan mail request. When I wrote to him this year, I mentioned that in my letter and that now I was trying to get autographs from the entire draft class and wondered if he'd be willing to sign a new card with him in his NHL team's uniform. Kevin strikes me as a great kid and I hope he has a great NHL career.

Think I got more back today than I did all of last week (of course, the mail didn't even come on Saturday, so I'm sure that contributes to it). Yotes prospect Adam Zlnka sent back a very nice response. It's genuinely nice to know that I'm helping to make some of these kids' days. A couple nice returns today with a couple interesting quirks.

Sam Rinzel (drafted 25th by Chicago) c/o Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL)- interestingly, he personalized my return envelope rather than the card (but did write "thanks" on the card). With Sam's return, I now have autographs from all three of Chicago's first round picks in the 2022 Draft. Side note- I drafted him in two separate mock drafts on this site.

Ryan Hofer (drafted 181st by Washington) c/o Everett Silvertips (WHL) with a nice thank you note. I mark this one as interesting because it's the second in three days to come in a team envelope rather than my SASE. Can't complain as long as the auto comes back safe and sound.
