If it's the not finished season sample size that bothers you just take the full range on him. Matthews has 132 points in 144 games. Not too shabby, 74 goals as well.
Does that really look like a 60 point player to you?

If he's a 60 point player in your view. Do you seriously expect him to finish in the 60 point range next year?
Have no idea what he gets, I do not know the future. 132 points in two years is 66 points a year...

Um yes because he had not proved himself yet, just like Matthews has not proved himself to be more then a 60 point player.

132 points in 144 games=0.916 ppg
multiply that by 82 games=75 points

Please stop, your making yourself look so bad right now!
Oh, he played 82 games? Oh wait, no he did not. Stop making up stats, bottom line is as of right now he has never gotten over 69 points in a season hense he is a ~60 point player. Sorry reality hurts you so much...

He has never had a season below 63 either, so how does that make him a 60 Point player when he has never had a season as low as 60?

Is this serious? Um, because the first number is a 6..... Does ~70 even make sense when he did not even hit 70. Might as well say ~500.

Are you serious? You just lectured people on what the tilde means and you can't even use it correctly. Speaking of 500, if an item costs $490, would you say it's ~500 dollars, or ~400, since it starts with a 4? And if you think it's the latter, I'd like to borrow some money.

Ok, the Average is 66, so he is a ~65 Point player. Do you feel better now?
