Very empty batting average… wRC+ of 69, 75, and 70 the last 3 seasons. Hit well in the Covid shortened 2020 (his only good year) and got the extension but his bat has been nonexistent for 3 years now. Still a good defender though

fletcher would be the greatest hitter of all time if he played every game against the A's. can't remember him ever not having a multi-hit game against them

Have to think Stassi can get dumped. Maybe contract allows for the $7.5 owed to Stassi to get deleted once DFA’d while White’s is guaranteed? Braves definitely don’t need another catcher with Murphy and dBlow locked up

So this probably answers the question, but both White and Fletcher have 2 option years with buyouts, does the team have to payout both buyouts if they decline the option the first year, or is it just one buyout that is owed?
