Excellent article. The players who impressed me the most yesterday were Vesey and Stromwall. I know Vesey blew a tire and that led to the overtime game winner but everything else he did he did pretty well. He had a good sense of the game--handled the puck well and made a lot of nice plays and showed good hands and he consistently went to the net and fought for position. Stromwall just struck me as a smart player and just about every shift with the exception of the penalty he took he did something positive. I liked Kovacs too. Buchnevich was a bit quiet. I think adjusting to the rink was an issue for him.

I know it's only 1 game of a prospect tourney but seeing Kovacs and Stromwall together has me super excited to follow their progress in the AHL this year. Stromwall may end up being a huge steal of a signing for us.

Those games are a little hard for me to watch without a program in hand. Numbers are hard to see, the camera angle, etc. It really is great to have your on site analysis.
