Canucks win a playoff OT game with a third string goalie and people complain about our goalies.
Yeah I’m jealous. We must be doing it wrong. We have two third string goalies and they can’t even get us a sniff of the playoffs.Canucks win a playoff OT game with a third string goalie and people complain about our goalies.
I mean their third string goalie had a save percentage of 0.900, something our goalies couldn’t accomplish most nights.Canucks win a playoff OT game with a third string goalie and people complain about our goalies.
This is gonna blow your mind but Sens also won some games this yearCanucks win a playoff OT game with a third string goalie and people complain about our goalies.
Bro our goalies are like that girl who entered the 100 meter race in China and came last by a landslide.Canucks win a playoff OT game with a third string goalie and people complain about our goalies.
It's interesting how the Avs' 3 best players all far exceeded their draft expectations.
Mackinnon was 1OA, but even so, no one expected him to become the 2nd best player in the league.
Rantanen was considered a top 10 pick by scouts, but nobody had projected him to become a 1000 point player.
Makar was seen as a great powerplay quarterback and offensive defenseman, but again, was not at all projected to become the best D-man in the league at the time of his draft.
And we got………Colin white!! YayyyyyyyyyBoeser 3 Nashville 3
Going to OT
Canucks win
He's on the cusp of breaking out. He doesn't have a point in his last 42 NHL regular season games, but don't let that fool you.And we got………Colin white!! Yayyyyyyyyy
Yup, 100%. My critique was of Dangle, not of the Leafs depth. Although I don't think their team is very well built in general
I feel like Marner may actually want to be traded, there's just way too much media pressure in Toronto, and he can't find his groove at all in the playoffs. A fresh start might do him well.Everybody significant on Toronto has a NMC, except for Nylander. His does not kick in until July 1st. If the Leafs wanted to make a statement by moving one of the core players, it would have to be him.
They can't even buy out John Tavares. It actually costs them more cap to buy him out than to keep him (10.4M dead cap plus 775k+ to fill the roster spot). I guess you could argue that it would be a statement move.
Jets don't get criticized enough for consistently crapping the bed in the playoffs.
Last 5 years they've only gotten past the 1st round once, which was 20/21 (the playoff bubble year), and then they got swept by the Habs.
You'd think a team built around strong team defense with one of the NHL's best goalies would be able to have some success in the playoffs, but they haven't and are just getting dismantled by the Avs right now.
Ya but Gryba gave us the infamous player 61 quoteImagine….. In 2006, the Sens selected Nick Folino in the first round, no second round pick, and in the third round they selected Eric Gryba.
Three picks later, the Bruins selected Brad Marchand

Could you imagine what Matthews would be like if he was a playoff warriorCould you imagine what Matthews would be like if he had a playoff warrior on his wing - not necessarily your Cam Neely/Brendan Shannhan type but even a dude like Brayden Point, Justin Williams a player who can be there in the big moments with him and always be in on every play waiting for that crack of daylight to impact the game.
Matthews just doesn’t have that wing man in Toronto right now. Time for Toronto to make their Matthew Tkachuk trade and get Matthews and Reilly some dudes who have that playoff magic
First round is usually incredible and so far it’s just been good this year. Still time for things to get a little more interesting though.Boring playoffs so far
so you missed the Vancouver game then....Boring playoffs so far
Boring playoffs so far
Tbh, that was 3 mins of excitement after 58 dull mins... Nashville really wasn't allowing much of anything and the Nucks looked completely out of it.so you missed the Vancouver game then....
