Kind of reminded me a little of Resident Evil 3 I think it was...the one that takes place in part in Las Vegas and looked similar...

The only Zombie movie I want to see if a PROPER telling of World War Z.

It would make a kick ass anthology series for a streaming service like Netflix.

Nice. A zombie Tiger. At least something new.

That is not new at all ,, A god awful Asylum/Syfy film did it already

In my head I mixed up Army of Darkness and Evil Dead and I thought this was yet another soulless (no pun intended) extension of that franchise. Somehow I'm even more disappointed knowing this is an "original" IP. Hard pass.

I like the cast and Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorite zombie movies, so I'm kind of looking forward to this.

Such a good book wasted on that stupid 28 days earlier movie with Brad Pitt.

World War z was such a terrific book. The book written by a fan 10 years later was pretty damn good too. Exact same format, with a note at the start explaining how much he loved world War z and was waiting for more books written in that format for a decade before writing it himself. Country to country retelling interview style. Interesting chapters like a union of offshore rig workers decending into cannibalism. A capitalist who invented an app for tracking zombie encounters and then used fake reports to generate fear and buzz to get more downloads which mislead armed forces into chasing fake zombie calls....great book. Jumped heavily into the rift between Republicans and democrats causing catastrophe.

Lots of interesting chapters and a more modern internet/phone age take. Set in 2018 I think.

This is how the world ends: an oral history of the zombie war

If you like wwz I'd suggest reading it

Z Nation was certainly the standout among Aslyum offerings

If they had more like that it would be tolerable but 99.9% of what they put out is pure crap

I think the main issue, is that style works way better as a tv show

but, doesnt matter because their entire business plan is make a cheap movie to piggyback the advertising of blockbusters

its insanely smart really

I don't know how smart it is (probably just as smart as porn parodies), but mockbusters have been around for a long time - like the rest of their stuff, clearly not their idea.

Went in with low expectations, and they were totally not met.

Complete piece of crap. Down there with the worst of the genre.

Waste of time. Avoid at all costs.
You clearly went in taking it too serious to start with. You can tell from the trailer it's just going to be a silly unrealistic movie where you shut your brain off for 2 hours.
