For one thing, he's gliding a lot less than he has been in previous seasons. I have no idea why he's all of a sudden skating harder, but it's nice to see.

If that's actually the reason, Getzlaf is stupid. If he skated as hard last year, he could've had a better year and possibly gotten a contract before the new CBA.... and subsequently get even more money!

Maybe he likes 2 babies to keep him up at night instead of just one like last season Haha, I think he just knows that he must have a bounce back year.
