Maybe Monahan pulls a Markov and randomly shows up to start the game?

It sounds like he's done for the season, which is why he's on LTIR. Hughes said at TDL Conference that it was only a maybe that he plays again this year & if he did he still wouldn't be 100%. He's not playing.

No wonder the Habs win games here and there...you look at their lineup and it's hard to not look past them if you're an opponent.

Suzuki-Drouin-Belzile-Tierney down the middle?

This is soup kitchen level dining the Habs are cooking here.

Pitlick can also play at C.

Belzile goes back to center I guess.

Suzuki - Drouin - Belzile - Tierney
Jesus fecking Christ. A spine of pure, top quality, steel through the middle of our lineup.

Belzile should consider himself unlucky not to be 2C on that particular depth chart based on current effort - and he's likely to still be in the Org next year!

Anthony Richard is a great AHL player, dynamic in fact.
The NHL game is where he struggles. There are such players...they just can't make the jump.

Dvorak down helps the tank big time but this injury bug is something else. No covid excuse like last year either.

Only so much talk about Richard's goal last night.

Not too many players in the league have his breakaway speed, and can score a goal like that.

Reminded me of Byron: a bottom-six player that can change the game in the blink of an eye.
