Certainly not a bust by definition, but man, what a disappointing career. Had HOFer potential.

Ultimately, he never really demonstrated that potential. His older brother was a top prospect at the time and Justin was sometimes said to be better (which he was), but ultimately both Uptons were probably just overhyped. They were both fast, powerful, players who could do pretty much anything, but they weren't quite good enough as hitters to dominate the sport (and B.J. was a really poor fielder).
