    The kid tore it up last night. Four goals, four assists for Kitchener. Is he drafted or is this his year?

    Yeah, him and Matt Lashoff had big games on Friday for Kitchener. Benoit with the 4 goals and 4 assist, while Lashoff had 4 assists.

    His 8 points tied Bryan Fogarty's record for most points in one game by a d-man. Fogarty did it twice in 88-89.

    Is Benoit still playing D for Kitchener? If he is, he could definitely put up some serious numbers. All kinds of talent, too bad he's so small. I think he'll find himself with a contrat after this season. I know he was at Leafs camp but was cut so I'm sure someone else will take a look at him. Especially considering he'll likely have a huge season this year.

    The Kitchener site has him listed as 6' 195. Seems like room to grow into an adequately sized D-man. He's already a lot bigger than Greg Hawgood.

    No problem.

    He's a solid defenceman. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of numbers he puts up this season, especially after this game.
