He's hurt. Concussed. He's going on LTIR.

I mean, if he's healthy he's worth a late round pick, but the only point in grabbing him is if you think he'll be healthy sometime later in the season.

Ottawa, Ontario
I like Nilsson a ton but the guy is done, might not ever play again, will certainly be on LTIR. Why even start this thread?

Quality depth goalie.
He did have an aright year on a bad Ottawa team

Realistically, Ottawa can't really move him. He doesn't cost money. Which is exactly how they want it.

If he does come back, healthy, maybe they'll find a spot for him

I mean, the LTIR thing kinda works for Edmonton too since they're against the cap. They can sit him on LTIR and if he comes back, Bonus!, if not, whatever.

Again, late pick.

if ottawa has to pay him a portion of his salary even on LTIR then futures

if his contract is fully covered then a late pick

True, last I read he was healthy and. ot updated on his concussion update days ago.

The Sens have decent depth in net with Murray, Nilsson, Gustavsson and Daccord.
