BOB MADE A MOVE! Tell me it’s a conditional 6th that could become a 5th and if that’s the only move we make, I will have nailed this deadline

Dubas has really gone away from his analytics ways he seemed so set on before the Leafs lost to Columbus last year. This move is another move for a player whose analytics absolutely stink.

Dubas is a smart guy, but he is prone to massive overcorrection at times.

What kind of player are the Leafs getting in Ben Hutton? Can he slide up into the top 4 if an injury hits or is he limited strictly to the bottom pair? Thanks in advance gentleman.

You could, you probably wouldn't want to.

Hutton
Flashes of surprised “oh wow, he’s really not bad!” and flashes of

“ohhhhhh I see”

He’s a 7-8 dman on a good team. Ideally he doesn’t go near your top 4, I think if Muzzin or Rielly got hurt you would be better off with Dermott or even Sandin in the top 4 than Hutton.

My only regret is that larsson wasn’t sent along with him

I'm going to go out on a limb here. Actually a twig. I predict Larsson will be much improved playing as a LHD with Shat (or whoever) as opposed to Hutton. People forget that Larsson actually had a decent start to the year and his season went to hell when Hutton was signed.
