I just don't understand what Verbeek is doing. Max won't ever amount to much, but not sure why there's a desire to add a vet to the Gulls right now.

I suppose this is mostly Chicago shedding some salary; Sikura was making 550K in the minors while Golod is making 55K. Gulls are in last place but could use some help up front. Sikura is a decent enough AHL player. Maybe Anaheim uses Sikura as an NHL forward making the league minimum to finish off the season?

It was only a matter of time. I've been calling this one for weeks. Feels strange that this whole Sikura to the Ducks deal is finally over and it only cost us Max Golod. Feel sorry for TSN, what are they going to speculate about now that this trade has been made?
