Lowe is a weak link but Gretzky is well Gretzky.

Edmonton's first unit would be blown away by Detroit and Montreal. The gap between Lowe, Fuhr and Montreal/Detroit's second defenceman and goaltender is too big, and the top lines are roughly equal anyway.

I adored Arturs Irbe as much as every other Sharks fan, but him being on their all-time starting five is ludicrous, no matter how you spin it.

Scott Hannan is a good choice.
