well... that's all fine and all but more weight I give to the captaincy and excellence related to the Soviets of the beating-the-NHLers era...

there are at least two more top-3 defensemen on multiple beat-NHLers Soviet teams that should go in this draft

the skill level, the work ethic, plus the success at the highest level of competition ... truly elite
