    Anyone?

The "Word Ponikarovsky is too long... " message when searching is really annoying.

Well, he looked like he had a very good shot at making the team before Joe Nieuwendyk was signed, but with that signing he may just be the odd man out, especially considering his two way contract. Should at the very least get a fair amount of injury callups.

His role would probably be a 3rd/4th liner, lines which are relatively interchangeable on the Leafs.

Ponikarovsky will make the team and be either the 12th forward or 13th forward, with Belak being the 14th forward/7th or 8th d-man.

Ponikarovsky would have to be placed on waivers to be sent down, and I'm pretty sure the Leafs don't wanna risk losing him on waivers, so he'll stick.

He's looked good enough in camp to make the team.
