We watched last nights show and it was eerie, to say the least, knowing that he is no longer with us but still alive on screen made it difficult to watch. One of my favorite celebrities because, frankly, he didn't act like one. RIP Sir.

I've met, and spoke to, him a few times.

The second time we met, about a year later than the first, he addressed me in French, and we were in Ottawa so it's not like he could assume I was French (which would've been the case had we met in, say, Trois-Rivieres).

I still feel honored to this day that he remembered me.
