Assuming this trade goes through with only these 2 parts - my thoughts going forward will be: "my god Dorion is a fool and following the Senators is going to be like standing on a landmine just waiting for it to go off".

The impact of this trade will be minimal in all likelihood but it's about the message being sent... and that message isn't "lets go on a run in the next 2/3 years!", it's "LOL I DONT KNOW HOW TO VALUE THINGS PROPERLY AND I AM NOT PREPARED".

So would you agree to trade White or Chabot for Duchene? I just want to understand which direction people want to go in.

I also find it hard to believe Dahlen couldn't have gotten us Hanzal or a similar player.

I just want to make it clear: I had no problem with Brassard, Condon, Prince or Puempel.

The magnitude of this trade isn't very high. It's not going to screw our future. But like I said - it's about the message being sent. The message of "LOL I don't know what I'm doing".
