Might be a busy day but it's special when it happens so Greer gets a thread. I guess he's slotted to join the Rampage, though he can still go back to RN.

You're going to have to give that up here soon TV. The Avs have already signed 3 of their 2015 picks. ;)

Hopefully they don't rush him and I don't expect they will. If he's not ready, send him back to the Q.

Looks like some positive reinforcement for the kid, you played well this year so here's what you earned. Now come out flying in camp and we'll consider giving you a spot in the minors, otherwise you've gotten a signing bonus, a taste of the NHL talent in camp and a goal to work towards for next year.

I like this very much.

Hey cool, looks like they'll have him be one of the kids in the AHL next year.

I think there is a good chance Compher starts in the AHL, but once he gets a NHL shot, he isn't leaving the lineup. The coaches will fall in love too easily.

Happy for him. I think QMJHL was good for him and probably would be next year as well, but perhaps he's ready for AHL.

That's what I think as well. Think they'll wait until around the X max break though. That seems to be their normal routine.

Awesome news, but wow didn't know he was already 20 years old.

I don't know if I want him to be on the bottom 2 lines for the AHL, because I have questions he's ready enough as a top 6 winger in the AHL. I think I would much prefer letting him have top 6 minutes in the ECHL to help his lost year of offensive development at Boston University.
