The Monsters still use a team bus with Barons branding.

Barons Bus is the name of the company they charter their bus from. IIRC, it's the name Lakefront Lines goes by in Cleveland.

The owner of Lakefront Lines owns the Cleveland Barons youth hockey program (some here may remember their NAHL team that folded after an ill-fated run at the USHL in Columbus).

Correct. The Goebel's own the service and an ice rink in Parma where the Jr. Barons played before Doug Macclain wanted his kid to play in Columbus so he convinced them to move to the USHL and become the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets. It was a dismal failure, and once Douggie's son was gone the plug got pulled from that team.

Yeah because the name worked so well from 2001-06. Anyone who thinks that the team would ever rebrand either has never been to the Q to see how much branding the logo has throughout the building or two is delusional. The Barons name is tainted in this area except for a few old timers who they don't care about. The franchise is doing quite well as it is, except for it's horrible parent club.

Monsters have provided the Avs prospects with a lot of playoff experience
I do appreciate the fans that go to the games there.
