LOL this is stupid but it will work....

Coaches salary doesn't count to the cap right????

so sign Pronger for 1-2 mill and then make him a player coach and as a coach get paid 4 mill

same with other players as assistant coaches lol

    :teach: worth a try...

If he plays a game then he is a player, and players salaries cost against the cap.

And you're right, it was silly.. and stupid.

Its not stupid and you're ignorant thinking it is a silly and stupid idea.

Loopholes like these pose as a very valid concern for the new CBA. There will always be a way for the players to be paid extracurricularly and there is a difference between "player salaries" and other sources of income.

-A player could be paid as an assistant coach
-A player could be offered partial stock in a company
-A player could be paid by the company to do advertisments
-A player could be paid in a variety of ways for a "filler" secondary job

The only person I can see getting away with this is Mario. He could sign himself to the league minimum contract and it wont matter.
