This article was featured in The Atlantic in February. The writer, Chris Koentges, does an excellent job of conveying the sense of mystique surrounding goaltending (being one, I am biased) and how Urpo Ylönen was instrumental in developing a Finnish system that is creating some of the top goaltenders in the NHL.

It's more poetry than advanced metrics, and just a good hockey read in and of itself.
