I disagree. Though your top two starters are better, my staff can compete with yours. I have the superior bullpen as well. And to be frank, the 1-6 of our lineups arent even comparable.

I would be interested to see your team's 162 game averages, because i'm pretty confident that gap would be quite significant in terms of bullpen and lineup.

Also, Cochrane vs RHP- .328/.433/.511/.945... that's a damn fine leadoff hitter against your big guns.

Well yes, but in a 7 game series, my top 2 starters will pitch 4 times. And Walsh is pretty clearly better than Clarkson. Waddell v Hamels isn't even close IMO.

Your lineup is better, but not overwhelmingly so. And I have a ton of great matchups given that we'll be facing a ton of righties.

Just like the Whales/Dukes, this series was incredibly close down to the wire. The Maroons behind some clutch hits by Buck Leonard, are able to move on via a 4-3 series win. Congrats to both for building great teams.
