Gambardella skated on a line with RNH and Chiasson in practice on Monday.

I don't know if Koskinen or Stolarz is starting, but I assume Koskinen starts until the Oilers are officially out.

Lost to all the other worst teams in the league at home lately, so why should they stop now? Booze 4 Hughes.

Let’s see if anyone goes after Doughty or if Doughty runs our show again. Lucic better bloody show up tonight and do his job. If he decides to look the other way again he should be told to join Kovalchuk in an LA ice cream line.

Put Rieder on the top line with McDavid & Drai to gift him a goal and stick it to Bob

Rather put him in the pressbox and give Currie and Gamberdella the time

Currie had a stretch of 4 points in 5 games, oddly enough this was when he was getting around 12 minutes a night.

Both guys did have their time bumped up to 10 minutes against Ottawa, but there is no reason not to try this guys out in a bigger role. They've been here for 9 and 16 games, so this feeling out process by the coaches has to be done. These are our 2 top goal scorers from the AHL and this team lacks goal scorers. It's time to see if they can play with talented players. If they can't that's fine, but lets give them the time so they can work on their game in the AHL playoffs and the off-season.

If you aren't going to play them then send them back down to the AHL to be apart of Bakersfield's run.

What ever happened to Petrovic? Did he get injured or has he been scratched this entire time.

So guaranteed win for us then?

Buckle up lol... they have destroyed my hope.. everytime I tried to get something going here and get people even remotely excited they have let me down and blew away crucial points in a lack of effort performance. I could forgive them if they were going down swinging and clawing and it was obvious they believed and were trying to make the playoffs but I don't even think are trying lol.

There is still a very MINUTE chance at playoffs btw as no other team is tracking well other then Colorado:

There is potential that both wild cards get replaced with Colorado* + another team

CURRENT RECORDS: (teams we should care about highlighted red)

Edmonton 2-2-1

Vancouver 0-1-0 (added with only 8 games left for them)
St. Louis 5-0-1 (Can't catch them)

Dallas 3-3-1
Arizona 1-3-2

Minnesota 2-4-1

Colorado 4-1-1 <--- Tracking for 8-2-2

Chicago 2-2-1

If the Oilers go 8-1-3 or 9-2-1 to finish the season;

We would need the teams ahead of us to have the following records at maximum for points:

Vancouver 6-1-1 (added with only 8 games left)
St.louis 4-8-0 <--- Cant catch them
Dallas 5-7-1
Arizona 6-5-1
Minnesota 7-5-0
Colorado 8-4-0
Chicago 8-4-1

Assuming Edmonton wins next 4 games:

Colorado plays: Vegas, Arizona, St Louis and Edmonton Record: 1-3-0
We catch 6 points on them putting us 1 point behind w/ game in hand with 2 games to go. (They win against Arizona)

Dallas plays: Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and PHI Record 1-3-0
We catch 6 points on them putting us 4 points behind with game in hand. So 2 points behind with 2 games to go.

Arizona plays: Chicago, Minny, Colorado, Kings Record 2-2-0 They lose against Chicago and Colorado. We catch 4 points on them putting us 1 point behind them with a game in hand and 2 games to go. (3 for Edmonton we are in control if we pass them or not)

Minny plays: Vegas, Arizona, Winnipeg and Boston. Record 0-4-0
We catch 8 points on them putting us 3 points ahead.

Chicago plays: Arizona, Kings, San Jose and Winnipeg. Record 2-2-0.
We catch 4 points on them putting us 2 points ahead.

Edmonton plays: Kings, Dallas, Anaheim and Vegas.

FOCUS ON THE NEXT 4 GAMES.. one at a time and win all 4 and some magic can happen....

Standings after 4 games:

Wild Card w/ 3 games to go for Edmonton

Dallas (2 points behind because of game in hand)
Colorado (1 point behind with a game in hand)

Arizona (1 point behind with a game in hand)
Edmonton
Chicago (2 points ahead)
Minny (3 points ahead)
