Team is tough to watch right now. Even that third period where they had the puck most of it they still didn’t generate a lot of offense.

They’re fortunate they got the point though. Their odds don’t greatly swing as of right now. New York needed the regulation win here to make up ground & put their hat more seriously in the mix with Washington & Detroit as teams that could potentially knock the Flyers out.

Red Wings get an empty netter. They do not play again until Friday either. They will be 1 point behind the Flyers.

Capitals play twice before Friday, currently with 3 games in hand.

Islanders play Chicago and Columbus before Friday, that will make up their games in hand
