If Frost+Couturier keep playing ~25-28 minutes combined the end of this season will get ugly quickly...

insane that in a close game with the way he was playing Frost saw less than 12 minutes of ice.
Frost with 1G 1A, 70% FO, +1, 4S, 1st star AND 11;43 of TOI. How is than even possible?

Odd game - lots of special teams ice time (~15m of ice time). That's going to throw a wrench into deployment. Figure below is the All Situations TOI and ES TOI broken down by period for each center.

The ES time is pretty comparable in the 1st and 2nd periods between centers - it's a fairly similar distribution. It's somewhat concerning that Frost only got ~ 2m of ES icetime in the 3rd. It's another indication that the Flyers are focusing on defensive structure and defensive play going into the playoffs.

Makes no sense, Laughton is the worst player defensively of the four and the over reliance on him down the stretch here is going to blow up in their face.
