Played 20 minutes again. Worked out somehow.

Sandstrom will be a suitable tank commander if he stays with the big club.

Good for Tyson to bag two more.

Seeler seems like a really good guy and a great teammate. He’s a guy that, IMO, could be a good 3rd pairing player that will ppay regularly on the pk.

I also don’t blame him one bit for wanting to get as much money as possible on a longterm deal. This is his one chance to cash in and sign a deal that will allow him to sock away a million+ over each year of the contract.

All that being said though, I’d still move him. The Flyers are a minimum of 3 years away from contending and probably more like 4-5. You have to maximum the value of these vets on expiring deals right now.

A quirky unofficial note but the Flyers scored goals at 19:58 and 19:59 of periods tonight. Only once -- and that game was against the California Golden Seals which should tell you how long ago -- has the team scored twice at 19:59 in the same game. Jim Johnson scored both goals in that game as part of a hat trick he concluded in the game's final second. I can't find another 19:59 x2 game.

How many do they trade for the playoff push? :sarcasm:

TyFo may be my favorite player.

Anyway, those may be the worst jerseys in Flyers history.
