Perhaps this belongs in the music thread, but Alice in Chains is soft as hell, and I don't get why metal heads like them when there's much more harder and better bands to listen to..

Obviously yes there are better and harder bands out there. But AIC were probably the heaviest band to come out of Seattle.

And don't say the Melvins because they came out in the mid 80's and their sound goes beyond just metal or punk.
