I'd keep Cirelli. See what another year of Raddysh and Lilleberg brings, but we need a RD not named Matt Dumba or Nick Perbix.

Bottom six can all go imo. Motte is fine if we bring him back but the rest aren't needle movers. I don't count Paul as bottom six.
Cirelli is the only thing of value we can trade. Sheary and Jeannot will be for pennies on the dollar, may even have sweeteners attached.

One of Cernak, Cirelli, Serg, has to go and our defense is already bad enough. We can't keep the core 5 contracts and the next tier of 3 (71, 81, 98) we can't. We need cap. We need depth at the very least. This sub is so in love with keeping all 3 when they are all overpaid

Duclair is pushing himself out of here with his disappearing act, weak ass shit of an effort in the playoffs. Only good with time and space, which good teams take away in the playoffs. He isn't getting younger
Yeah the Duclair experiment has run its course

Glendening will be back as well. Paul, Motte and Glendening are fine for the bottom 6, Eyssimont as well really. They do need a couple of adds though.

Motte and Glendening do everything I want as far as 4th liners go. Both are good defensive players, really good penalty killers, and Glendening is great faceoff specialist. Not to mention they're both cheap cap hits ($800K)

Yep, I'm happy with Ace and Chaffee too

You don't fix 7 gaping holes in your roster by trading Cirelli/Cernak/Serg.

You trade someone like Point or Kuch if you want to patch those sooner than later.

Vasy's been great but that last goal he let in was really bad.

That would've kept it tied.

Stammer is a UFA.

Cirelli is overpaid.

Hagel hasn’t done shit in the playoffs.

Hedman has lost a massive step.

People were talking about trading Serg before he got hurt.

Cernak sucks.

So much misplaced optimism.
I think Vasy coming back to form gave us some false hope.

As good as some of our players are, overall we just dont have as many good players as true contenders. And a lot of our players are slotted a little too highly.

I think we need a shake up trade. I dont know if management will pull the trigger on Cirelli while Coop is still here.

Wouldnt be shocking to see Coop leave after next year either.

Key today was 0 for 4 on the PP, even more than the DF miscues. Remember when it struck fear into our opponents?

Stamkos will get re-signed
Cirelli is fine, and the cap going up mitigates his supposed terrible overpay

Hagel has been a great add, and there were far more expensive and worse playoff performers this year.

Hedman has lost a step, but he's still far better than most Tampa could get right now

Serg is the most overpaid of the 3 rfas, but he's going nowhere.

Cernak is injury prone, but far from sucks.

alright so no reason to tank next year but also no reason to reup stammer. Run it back with what’s left if they don’t produce blow it up for the 26 lottery.

Panthers might win a cup this year.

But we aren't close. That stinks. We aren't a player or two away.

I say...start over. Kuch had a career year and it was a facade

I have nothing bad to say about Chaffee. He's exceeded my expectations, but there are better players than him. As for Ace, I'll take him as a 4th liner, but not as a 3rd liner.
Motte - Glendenging - Ace
Would be a pretty good 4th line

We're still down 2 top 6 wingers
Hagel - Point - Kuch
??? - Stamkos - ???

...if JBB even signs Stamkos....

We wouldn’t have to worry about these tie scenarios if our team (aka everyone other than Vasy) wasn’t limp dicking it through 2 periods per game in the playoffs.

We may not have the cap space, at least, I don't think we have anything internally.

I think we need an actual needle mover. Like a ryan o'Reilly type. Or maybe just a legit 2C to at least balance out our centers. Either that or just commit to Stamkos as a 2C (yes, back to C) and try to find a winger he gels with.

Which is the right move. We're not close to competing for a Cup and we don't have the draft assets to do more than tread water for the next few years.
Trade Kuch and we’re taking a shit dive down to the depths of Sharks and algae feeders.

how much do those things really help though when you have someone who is so useless offensively he makes sure our 4th line is always gonna be complete shit. i’d be fine with him as the 13th forward but playing him every game is just suicide

I don't wanna do a rebuild w/o our 1st, and thanks to the Jeannot trade, that's a year off
