I'll be at this one...with three friends assuming the winter storm doesn't cancel their flights out of Detroit.

It already cancelled one that had a connection in Chicago, so I'm just hoping they get in safely, soundly and we can head to 7th street and get the beers and food in before puck drop.

This is a "must-win", for team confidence and really the fan base. If the Blues get up by 2 goals early, I'm sure I'll be able to hear a pin drop in the X, or a collective sigh.

Wild win 3-2, in OT which I'll take but I hate giving up that point.

Heh, Stoner will always play.

Don't expect Yeo to scratch him unless he's injured, obviously.

True that. I'm just trying to demonize him as much as I can. The real reason I'm not watching the game is work @ morning but I like to exaggerate and plant the seeds of panic and despair.

Eh, I give it two Ranting Avder's out of ten.

Also we're gonna get stomped again.

Believe it or not but I expect Stoner to have a solid game tonight.

For the Wild or the Blues? :naughty:

I hope he can at least play this game without getting any assists on the Blues' goals or scoring their game-winner.

I don't know what to expect for tonight. The 1st line hasn't clicked yet, which isn't a wonder considering Pominville's been with them for a week and they've barely had any time to practice. If they start clicking, we have a chance. Seto can't get anything done without Cullen, so I'm not expecting much from the 2nd line.

Even losing this game (depending on what the game looks like) wouldn't be the end of the world, but mentally they really need a win right now so they can kick ass in the easier and more winnable games soon.

Here's what I want to see:

Parise-Koivu-Pommers
Seto-Granlund-Coyle
Bouchard-Brodz-Clutter
Usual 4th line

Suter-Brodin
Spurgeon-NotStoner
NotStoner-NotStoner

I like your style. Spurg-Falk and Clark-Prosser would hurt less than Stoner.

Blues win tonight, they are playing good and we just don't show up vs good teams lately for some reason.

Also 2nd line

MiG (left wing) Coyle (center) Seto (right wing) ta da,

Also Also: I cannot believe this team gives up 4 prime assets to make a move, and they keep ****ing Bouchard on the roster. He should have been the first to go, so what if you get a 5th round pick for him, so who gives two flying ****ing ducks. HE DOES NOT BELONG ON OUR ROSTER.

We will win tonight. No way our crowd allows a loss.

Parise has a huge night tonight, 1-2 goals, 1-2 assists. He'll have the most points.

Wild win 5-3.

Here is an article about Harding as well as the defensive pairs tonight.
Despite Clayton Stoner’s rocky play of late and turnover that led to Marian Hossa’s winning goal Tuesday against Chicago, coach Mike Yeo will stick with Stoner and play the hard-nosed defenseman Thursday against St. Louis.

Veteran Tom Gilbert, scratched the past two games, is expected to return and be paired with Justin Falk, while Brett Clark and Nate Prosser will be scratched.

Suter - Brodin
Spurgeon - Stoner
Gilbert - Falk

? Unless Yeo is (wrongfully) breaking up Suter and Brodin again. I hope not.
