Dallas is the heaviest team in the business. By far.
Yeah, and it looks like Hitchcock has been packing on the pounds again.

The games have been nicely spread out. Do yo really want to throw Lyon in with his recent AHL record? How long until Elliott burns to the ground from overuse by Hakstol?

Cool attitude!I'm hoping we lose every game so Hak gets fired and really could care less if Elliott gets burned out. But it will happen eventually with this usage.
Me and you bothI'm hoping we lose every game so Hak gets fired and really could care less if Elliott gets burned out. But it will happen eventually with this usage.

Going to this one, lets GOOOOO!
It's really simple, if they get hot, make the playoffs, Hakstol must be a good coach. So no problem if he stays.
If they crash and burn, he's gone. So no issue. Until the next coach installs a similar scheme and we have three more years of whining about how boring it is, unless of course they win the Cup, in which case all is forgiven.
In between, probably another year of whining about Hakstol, unless the kids come up and they finished with 100+ points.
So problem is solved, except of course for those who'd hate Hakstol even if he was embracing the Cup.
If they make the playoffs with this roster and our division he deserves to stay and we will have enjoyed all the wins we would need to make the playoffs. If we don't I'm sure Hextall will try to find someone he likes better after the season.I want Hak gone, and it sure looked like Elliott was spontaneously combusting early in the Sabres game (until Patrick put out the fire).
But I want the Flyers to win, and am pretty happy when they do.
I guess I'm confused, and about as bi-polar as this crazy team.
To be fair, just because we make the playoffs doesn't necessarily mean Hak is the coach to take us to the promised land but it definitely does mean he's earned another year. It's really simple, if they get hot, make the playoffs, Hakstol must be a good coach. So no problem if he stays.

Usually on weekends its fun. Just make sure you have a designated driver.Going to this one, lets GOOOOO!
Also anyone have experience with Xfinity live after a Flyers game? Folks i'm headed down with mentioned they wanted to head over to it once the game ends, I've never been.

Excitable aren't we? Maybe a little Warren Zevon's "Excitable Boy " would be appropriate??
Hakstol had one Frozen Four appearance in ten years at UND. He didn't win there either.
