Sounds like a long shot. Not exactly sure how that would work with one company owning the entire league. Would each executive get a team to run and it basically be a "fantasy league" for the company?

To me, it sounds like key is revenue sharing to 100% to make all teams equal. Wouldn't it be nice if that could happen in the actual NHL as is.

Geez, a $3.5 million dollar offer for a league allegedly losing $273 million. Hmmm.

The purchase would not be dependent on the NHL reaching agreement with the players on a collective bargaining deal, and a sale would not affect the status of the NHL Players' Association as the bargaining agent for players under U.S. and Canadian labor laws.

It seems to me that such a sale wouldn't have any impact on the legal requirement of owners to continue to bargain with the PA, rather than simply dictate terms of employment.
