I think Rusty's on the IR, Broberg will probably pair up with Ceci.
Hope the boys put in another high effort and get rewarded for it, 5L in a row would be nasty..

Go Oilers!

Thanks again Ging! There's some gems in there.
Well... There's always a chance to win each night, even against the best in the league. I won't be able to watch tonight and that's probably for the best tbh. (Try to) enjoy everyone.

Oh my god it just clicked that it’s the return of the Bear…

If we lose tonight I don’t think I’ll be able to bear the pain of these boards.:sarcasm:

please win Oilers I’ve been a good boy this year.

Look at that center depth. McLeod better be on his A game and whoever we trot out as the 4C is getting caved.

Curious to see if we see any actual changes to anything with the lineup or special teams tonight.

I believe this is our longest regulation losing streak since Tippett was hired, and you can see it especially in Mcdavid and Drai games that frustration is really setting in. Something’s gotta give.

Would like to see something like this to try to match up against Carolina's forward depth:

Foegele-McDavid-Puljujarvi

Draisaitl-McLeod-Yamamoto

Hyman-RNH-Kassian

Benson-Shore-Sceviour

Give Foegele a chance with McDavid to see if he can get his mojo going. Playing against his former team should also be some motivation as well.

All this Bear talk OMG…. He’s completely replaceable and a bottom pairing guy that every NHL team has 4 of…. Move was good for him and good return for Oilers. I want to see Foegele get two tonight, including the empty netter in a 5-3 win…

I'll just settle for Foegele not being on the ice for a goal against.

I don’t know why but I have a good feeling about tonight’s game, no predictions though cause that never works out when I do them. Let’s Go Oilers!!

Hate to pile on with the Bear talk, but this specific aspect is concerning not just due to Bear, but the team in general.

I didn’t read the athletic article, but the oilers nation one here: Ethan Bear on Edmonton after the 2021 playoffs: “It just felt like I was alone”

“The one thing that sucked is I didn’t feel like I had much support when it happened,” he says. “It was such a weird thing to go through, and it just felt like I was alone.”

not a good look for a club who’s leadership is seemingly always under scrutiny.
